(I published this article 3 hours before Biden announced he is dropping out of the race. However, I still feel intuitively that this information is relevant. I did write in a prior article that I felt one of not both of the nominees would not be on the ticket come November.)
I am going to tell you upfront: there is no astrologer or psychic medium that can predict the 2024 Presidential Election with complete accuracy. This doesn’t mean that some of them won't be right in their call. But there are always many moving pieces, and with a large population, there are also many agendas. With extreme corruption, exorbitant money changing hands, a media more focused on clicks and viewership, and a system infiltrated by billionaires' mighty influence, anything can happen.
Now, please know I am not saying the election is doomed—it is not. But without recognizing the influences at play, we may take a Pollyanna approach and lose sight of how critical it is for everyone to vote. The proverbial pendulum always swings from one point to another, so it is important to keep that in mind.
Let’s discuss the elephant in the room: our two nominees are geriatric. The youngest of the two is 78 years old, and the other is 81, with a birthday two weeks after the election. The life expectancy for white males in the United States is approximately 76 years of age. Keep in mind, life expectancy is an average—usually, if you are healthy and don’t carry any genetic risks or fall prey to an accident, you will live beyond this age. However, it is glaring that one of these two men could die before the election or while President in Chief. This is why I am not going to read their charts and compare the transits to November 5th; I just can’t see how this could be an accurate assessment under the circumstances.
Given the unpredictability and various influences at play, let’s delve into the astrological charts of the vice-presidential candidates to gain deeper insights into potential outcomes. Though people typically do not vote based on the VP pick, this election might be an exception due to the candidates' ages.
I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you I have a bias. Everyone has one—it’s in our DNA and our natal astrology. With a water-heavy chart, a Cancer ascendant with the fixed star Sirius, Cancer Jupiter, Pisces Moon, and Saturn, I want to protect everyone and root for the underdog. My Sun and Neptune are in Scorpio, so I dig for the underlying meaning and root causes, and my Mercury, Venus, and Mars are under the philosophical spell of Sagittarius. I consider myself an independent, but if I had to pick a political movement, it would be progressive.
Blending astrology and communication with my Spirit Guides seems to work for me. Am I 100% accurate? No, and no one is due to the free will of others. Though many of my predictions do come true, and the ones that don’t often have similar themes. When things don’t happen as I envisioned, I don’t consider it a hit because my interpretation was off. I’d rather say that what went down didn’t occur the way I thought it would, as opposed to wrangling words to make it fit. I am good with saying I am wrong, and in November, there could be a chance that with this article, I will say, “Wow, this did not play out the way I saw it.” However, just to be clear, I am confident with the things I see happening at the moment and I am reading the current energy.
Before I go into some chart readings, I will ask my guides through the use of a pendulum and dowsing rods questions related to the November 5th, 2024 election.
Q. Will the Republicans win the White House in November 2024?
A. No
Q. Will the Democrats win the White House in November 2024?
A. Yes
Q. Will the Republicans keep the majority seats in Congress in November 2024?
A. No
Q. Will the Democrats win the majority seats in Congress in November 2024?
A. Yes
Q. Will the Republicans gain majority power in the Senate in November 2024?
A. No
Q. Will the Democrats keep majority power in the Senate in November 2024?
A. Yes
As of now, the energy suggests that the Democrats will have power in both houses of Congress and in the executive branch. But with the astrology we have over the next few months, this energy could change.
Kamala Harris
Vice President Harris was born on October 20, 1964, at 9:28 PM in Oakland, California. Examining the transits for Election Day, I like to first look at Saturn and Mars—responsibility and action, respectively.
Transiting Saturn is in conjunction with Harris' Pisces Chiron. Though Chiron doesn’t necessarily represent action in the traditional sense, it is about healing. With the Saturn conjunction, it would make sense that Harris could be someone who is called to heal the injustices within the universe as we know it—i.e., the United States.
Transiting Pisces Saturn opposition to Uranus, Pluto, and Venus in the sign of Virgo in the 4th house. Literally, Uranus in the fourth house can represent a sudden change in your home location. With Saturn in opposition to Uranus, this can be an indicator of success in something novel or unique (with Harris, it would be the first woman president). Saturn in her 10th house would exhibit someone stepping into a role of leadership or authority. Saturn returning to her 10th is an accumulation of her efforts for the past 20 to 24 years, which aligns with her first election run for District Attorney of San Francisco.
Saturn opposes Pluto, representing the accumulation of the past 14 years' efforts. Though achievement or disappointment can happen, if the person with this transit took on responsibility for the structures they created, it could mean success. Considering that Harris served two terms as Attorney General of California, then won the election for US Senator, and subsequently became Vice President of the United States, she has done her due diligence to create a foundation of competency and hard work. My interpretation is that this is a great transit for her due to her past performances.
Saturn is also in opposition to Virgo Venus. Understanding that Venus in Virgo is about perfectionism and details, which is not Venus’ strong suit. However, this placement aligns with Harris’ political ambitions. Simultaneously, she is not attracting people to her due to her charm. With her natal Venus, she would attract followers due to her being at service to the law and helping those who are underrepresented. Saturn in opposition can cause her personal problems with her partner; this could be a test of their durability.
Leo Mars squaring Harris’ Mercury in Scorpio. Mercury in Scorpio is intense. Often, people with this placement keep their thoughts closely guarded. They tend to dive deep into discovering the truth. Though this placement is not charming, people who are close to her will approach her for advice or a shoulder to lean on. This transit will give her lots of mental energy on the 5th, but since Mars is at 0 degrees, it won’t play out too much the weeks leading up to the election. However, if she has a faux pas in what she says on election day, I would not be surprised.
Transiting Gemini Jupiter in the first house and conjunct to Harris’ Ascendant and North Node. Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion. This transit is all about movement and change. It is about new beginnings for Harris, taking on tasks, learning, and growing. Having a Gemini North Node, her life path is to communicate publicly. Jupiter will shine a spotlight on her, giving her the ability to go from the background to the forefront. For the elections, I would conclude this is an auspicious placement.
Retrograde Taurus Uranus conjunction to Harris’ Natal Retrograde Jupiter. Anytime Uranus is involved, we can expect the unexpected. With her natal Jupiter being in retrograde, that tends to indicate that the pinnacle of one’s expansion happens later in life than early. With Harris being 60 years old at the time of the election and already having experienced her second Saturn Return, it would make sense that her highest achievement would happen during this time period. Uranus in retrograde is also about looking back to the unexpected events of the past, and in this case, we know now that we’ve encountered some shocking events with Trump and Biden’s poor performance in the debate. If Biden does step down and Harris is the presidential nominee, this transit will highlight this transition.
Retrograde Pisces Neptune sextile to Harris’ Retrograde Jupiter in Taurus. Again, this has to do with a later in life event, and here we have hopes and dreams coming into play with the expansiveness of her Jupiter. Though this is not a strong transit, it does highlight her faith and friendships. With Retrograde Neptune transiting her 10th house, this could be lifting of the veil on her achievements or on the opposition. As long as her focus is on the people, especially those who are underrepresented, then she would be in alignment with the energy. However, if she focuses on herself or others in power, then the illusionary trait of this transit will come forward and could dash her desires.
Pluto in Capricorn trine to Harris’ Retrograde Jupiter in Taurus square to her Aries Moon and square to her Libra Sun. The Pluto trine to Harris’ Jupiter is what the everyday person would want in a candidate. This transit heightens her desire to make positive change in the world and help those neglected by current systems. It also enhances her own power, giving her the opportunity to take a leadership role with humanitarian interests. Aries moon energy is passionate, individualistic, and assertive. With the Pluto square, it can impact her emotions by dredging up the past and possibly creating conflict with a partner. Pluto squaring her Sun will challenge her energy and can test her self-control. As long as Harris is not on a power trip, it shouldn’t be problematic but could actually be transformative, testing her sense of balance and being fair. With her Sun in Libra, as long as she focuses on the overarching theme of justice, law, balance, and harmony, this transit could help her grow into her current circumstances.
Summary on Kamala Harris’ Natal Chart and Transits:
Though there are some challenges here, for the most part, it feels like an opportunity for her to step up into a higher position. Her greatest challenges may be the people who are closest to her. If, by chance, she is running for president, it most likely will be her running mate that may try to overshadow her or challenge her authority. If it is not that, it could be her husband or her opponent in the race, which the latter would make the most sense in an election. If I were to offer her advice, her campaign needs to focus on helping and providing for the underserved, the rights of all people, fairness, and equity.
J.D. Vance
James David Vance (Born James Donald Bowman) was born on August 2, 1984, in Middletown, Ohio. We do not have a birth time for Vance, but we can still read the transits. Like Harris, I will start with Saturn and Mars.
Transiting Retrograde Pisces Saturn trines Vance’s Natal Saturn in Scorpio. This is a good transit to have; the energy is of preparing for the future. With the transiting Saturn being in retrograde, Vance’s qualifications may be scrutinized, especially when it comes to whether he has enough experience or if he has paid his dues. This is not a transit for reaching your goal or the pinnacle of your career, but it is one that assists with your future, helping you to lay the foundation for your path’s trajectory.
Transiting Retrograde Pisces Saturn in opposition to Vance’s Natal Mercury in Virgo. There is a 5-degree orb on this transit; I am including it since Mercury can cast a larger orb of influence. There could be a rejection of Vance due to his thoughts, beliefs, and words. His plans could be defeated. There could also be strife in his domestic relationships with this transit. The biggest downfall of this transit is when thinking is rigid. Again, with Saturn retrograde, his past statements could impact him at this time. (Please note Saturn does not get closer than the 5-degree orb to his Mercury. Some astrologers may not take this transit into consideration.)
Leo Mars sextile to Vance’s North Node and trine to his South Node. The nodes are your life path. For Vance, his North Node is in Gemini at 4 degrees, whereas Harris’ Gemini North Node is at 24 degrees. Harris is impacted by Jupiter, and Vance is impacted by Mars. With Mars sextile the North Node, Vance is coming to terms with his ambition and gaining clarity on his life’s path. It is a positive aspect but it is not one of completion, and there is some struggle with the psyche at this time. There is often a single-mindedness to this transit and a warrior attitude.
Transiting Retrograde Gemini Jupiter trine to Vance’s Libra Moon. This transit is more about equilibrium than action. During this time, Vance may feel more comfortable with his home and family, and his relationships can be quite rewarding at this time. Favorable opportunities are present, though they may be short-lived. Business and personal affairs are beneficial. Though actual outcomes don’t tend to happen with this transit, Vance may have a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction.
Transiting Sagittarius Mercury conjunct Vance’s Sagittarius South Node, opposition to Gemini North Node, conjunct Sagittarius Uranus, opposition to Gemini Chiron, and square to his Virgo Mercury.
Sagittarius Mercury is about optimism and forward thinking. Vance’s Sagittarius South Node is his moral compass and may be expressed as a “preacher-style” communicator. Gemini North Node is about communication that is more about teaching than prophesying. With this transit, Vance may regress to sermonizing in his speeches as opposed to reflecting on his life’s path and lessons learned.
On this day, due to the Mercury conjunction with Vance's Uranus, his mind will be racing. It is a day filled with excitement and energy. Though he will entertain lots of thoughts, he needs to be careful not to jump to any conclusions.
With Mercury in opposition to his Gemini Chiron, this is a pivotal point where Vance can either speak about unity and healing, or if he has not dealt with his own wound, he could be defensive.
Vance’s Virgo Mercury is impacted by the transiting Mercury. This square will trigger lots of communication, conversations, emails, and phone calls. He will be challenged to broaden his thinking, and if he doesn’t, he may have disagreements.
Capricorn Moon conjunct to Vance’s Natal Capricorn Jupiter and square to his Nodes. Capricorn Moons are good at controlling their emotions, and Capricorn Jupiter is goal-oriented. This conjunction could work well for Vance regardless of the outcome. He can put others at ease, and the women in his life will most likely be supportive. The square to the nodes represents his life’s path; regardless of the outcome, this is a karmic lesson for him. Usually, a square to the nodes is a check-in point, meaning that the end goal or purpose has not yet been achieved.
Scorpio Sun conjunct Vance’s Scorpio Saturn and squared to his Natal Sun in Leo. The sun will illuminate Vance’s responsibilities for the day and the tasks that are required of him. Though professional advancement could come on this day, it comes with additional responsibilities. Saturn is a container and has limits, and with the sun, achievement may be delayed. Honestly, this placement can go either way—meaning Vance could win an election, or if he doesn’t, then what transpires on this day can have a lasting impact on his future.
With the Sun squaring his Leo Sun, there will be a test to Vance’s validity in regards to the election. He will have people opposing him, and he will feel like there is malice. It is a tense transit that usually doesn’t produce the outcome that is wanted. It is a reminder that there is another phase of development that needs to happen first.
Transiting Retrograde Pisces Neptune square to his Sagittarius Neptune and Capricorn Pluto squared to his Libra Pluto. Without his houses, I won’t be able to determine the exact area of his life that these squares will impact; however, these are not easy transits. This is a time when your dreams are evaluated and a time for regeneration. These transits are about introspection and figuring out if you are on the path that you want to be on. These transits can indicate setbacks so that you can learn, grow, and eventually transform.
Summary on J.D. Vance’s Natal Chart and Transits:
As I go through his chart, I see a crossroads for him. He may have to deal with some moral issues during the election and be called upon to take responsibility. But I don’t necessarily see this as responsibility in regards to a new role, but more so how he responds to disappointment and loss. I am not ruling out a win for him, but it looks more like the election is a stepping stone for something bigger in the future. He will still have allies and political clout, but at the moment of this reading, it truly feels like how he responds to not winning is more important to his journey than an actual win. This experience, if he plays it well, reflects, and introspects, could propel him forward to other worthwhile ventures.
My Overall Conclusions:
I have felt for the past few years that this election will be about women, meaning that younger women will vote in larger numbers than in the past, and some men will vote regarding women’s issues because it impacts them as well.
The corporate media machine has an agenda. Just look at the board of directors of the parent companies and follow the money to the PACs that they support. Polling is irrelevant, and in current times, it is far from accurate. This election is based on Plutonian themes: Capricorn vs. Aquarius—corporations and authority vs. the masses and new ideas.
I remember when Barak Obama was campaigning in 2008, and some of my Democrat co-workers pondered if he could actually win due to his race. They had parents who were also Democrats and told me that their parents were hesitant on voting for a black man. However, they all voted for Obama, including the parents. Hillary Clinton had 3 million more votes in her favor than Trump but lost the electoral college. This shows that a woman could win. Using race and gender as a reason for Harris not to win is, in my opinion, is ludicrous. It just creates unfounded fear. She was on the ticket with Biden when he garnered 7 million more votes than Trump.
As of now, I do think the Democrats will win. In a future article, I will compare the two birth charts of the political parties.
I know this is a hot subject, but I would respectfully love your comments and thoughts; just please keep it civilized.
