I had my daughter during my first Saturn return so I had to grow up fast in order to assume the responsibilities of being a parent. At my second Saturn return and my daughter's first Saturn return, I had a financial meltdown, lost the house I was renting, and had to move in with her. It was like our roles reversed and she became the mother to me, the child who couldn't get her finances in order. I've had to claw my way back to a semblance of financial stability, and while I don't have the income that I would like to have, I'm doing a whole lot better than I was 14 years ago. Perhaps at my 3rd Saturn return at 90, if I live that long, I'll have the kind of financial stability I've longed for. Saturn and I should be best buds by then.

It sounds like your daughter was your gift from Saturn. And I completely understand the financial part. Though I wasn't hit as hard as I was on my first Saturn Return, it has been tough.

Yes, she's definitely a blessing. It's interesting to note that my mother, the perfectionist, I, and my daughter all have Saturn in Virgo. Mom's was retrograde and daughter has Jupiter there as well in a wide conjunction in the 10th. She's a registered nurse and doing very well financially and otherwise as a childless cat lady. My sun is in the Capricorn decan of Taurus so I've felt Saturn's energy most of my life.
